Very slim, gold cased (14k rose gold) pocket watch. Snap case back (14k rose gold), Inside stamped with production info and case number #401209 and gold hallmarks. Hinged inner ‘cuvette’ engraved on the outside ‘No.184401 Patek Phillipe & Cie Genève’. Original, yellow gold dial printed in black ‘Patek Philippe & Cie Genève’ at ’12’ . Subsecond at ‘6’. Black printed minute track, black Roman numerals alternating with black printed stick indexes). Gold bow and crown. Original blued hands.

Additional Info: This magnificent pocket watch rides stylistically between the late Art Nouveau and the beginning Art Deco periods. The large border around the relatively small dial aperture is typical also for wristlet watches around 1915, whereas the geometric and simply shaped numerals indicate the beginning Art Deco era.
